How about having Zell finance an after-school program or spend his remaining years working with Head Start children? Cooking dinner for homeless vets might also work.

His Senate gig is about up, I think he's been promised something in return for his support. Maybe even a cabinet position. He should be asked this question publicly and have it on the record before hand - make him refuse any possible position like Richard Clarke. If he won't do that - it cheapens the influence of his support for Bush.
