So, uh, W, what did you do about it?

1. You are assuming W was paying attention
O'Neill describes how briefings were a monologue. His Chimperial Highness would just sit there, never ask a question or make a comment.
O'Neill said he appeared to be completely disconnected.

(If a physics professor from MIT had a one-to-one with me about the latest debate on String Theory, I'd do the exact same thing. But I would have had a few things to ask O'Neill.)

When this fact came out, Fratboy George was quick to click a wet towel at O'Neill, claiming that the briefings were "boring."

Um -- the nation you are leading* is in a period of economic turmoil, and you find the thoughts of the guy in charge of Treasury tedious?

I wonder if all those funny names and "grey" matters that Tenet brought up in these alleged daily briefings were also "boring" to His Chimperial Highness.

3. Since bush*co was planning on raiding and bankrupting the treasury
what real reason was there for him to listen?

2. I don't think he said "daily" - he said "regular" meetings....
That could be once a month on a regular basis, when he returned from vacation....

6. there is no doubt about it--George is incompetent and spends most of
his time trying to look like a president. It is obvious he is patheitically unqualified to do the job and further, does not seem to give a damn or to try and improve it. That is his upbringing--the entitlement--the getting by on his daddy's name--

SomeHarvard professor was on the Ray Talifarro show this morning (thanks to DU for providing those links) I am sorry I cannot remember his name. It seemed to be an Indian name. He was Bush's professor at Harvard and the course he taught was a required business course.

He said Bush was never prepared and that his views were expressed arrogantly--one bein that poor people were poor because they were lazy.

So, he is rich because he worked hard? Ditto for the fat assed Laura. She is rich because she worked hard.

I cannot wait until they get out. I hope it is in infamy that they leave.
