Ouch.
As a member of the ACLU, that hurts me.

Check out the other former Democrat candidates. None of them have stellar records here. I'm an ACLU member myself, but their scorecards have a lot of rather losing propositions on them.

I'll also note in the 108th Congress scorecard, almost none of the candidates have even voted this time around on their issues. Kucinich had a 75%. That's about it.

7. Admittedly, it's tough to defend
civil liberties. The ACLU also has some rather...uhh...odd...positions on a few issues, that I happen to disagree with, myself, even as a member.

9. Blatant anti-Kerryism! Luckily the Patriot Act will soon dispose of these

micreants. Which state do you think the first detention facility will be located in?

5. Tell me about GWB's Record w the ACLU
ACLU is tough on politicians as they should be.

Now tell me how they rank GWB. . . .

6. That is a 1996 archive

for what it's worth. Also I noticed that he voted with the Clinton administration on a lot of those votes. Also many of the "wrong" votes were passed overwhelmingly.

Edit to add other scores from 1996:
Kennedy - 50%
Wellstone - 61
Tom Harkin - 39
Dodd - 39

10. Note: The ACLU
Counted a vote for McCain-Feingold as a "no" vote because it contained a claused that banned "soft money" ads with in 30 days of an election.
