Do you think we can win the seat? Some people think that it is more winnable with B.O. out of the picture as far as that is concerned. What are your thoughts?

1. Yes it is.
Any of the other Repugs (Shaffer, McGinnis, Beuprez, Tancredo ) can easily be beaten.

I'm for Bridges, but Mark Udall may win the nomination. Unfortunately, Udall is seen as very liberal. After all he represents the "Peoples Republic of Boulder." AG Ken Salazar hasn't announced yet.

I want to ask: do other Coloradoans think Owens' future political career is finished?

2. Udall can win
Speaking as a member of the peoples republic, Udall is not seen as very liberal but is about the best we can expect given our surroundings. :-) I think that he will when the nomination and that he has a very good chance of taking the race. He will win in the urban centers and should concentrate his race there.

3. I hope so. He is joined at the hip to George &Co with their dogma.
Rove says we are in great shape financially. I think Bill believes him. It's scary what they define as economic viability. I don't know anything about Bridges, but I like Mike Miles grassroots foundation. I think that is the way to go to build electability outside of Boulder and Denver. Progressive populism with a pragmatic bent would have some appeal here. At least I hope. I think that is why Dean is so popular.

4. Miles won't be nominated
I'm going to get flamed by a blow torch for this, but...

Miles is going to loose a lot of the white vote and the black vote. Just look at a picture of his family. Coloradoans just aren't that enlightened. I'm sure not.
