1. He should keep on the message that Rove & Bush are liars and keep
providing documentation to prove it. If Bush is discredited, his message won't go out that:
A) He is worthy of the public's trust and can provide "steady leadership in uncertain times"; and
B) Kerry is the Freudian projection of Bush as a liar.

19. Yep! Don't mince words. Call the lies what they are. LIES!!!
Repeatedly call them LIES, until everytime they open their mouths the public will know that they are lying. That goes for Rush, Hannity and Drudge.

2. TALK ABOUT IT OUT LOUD, in public and shout it to the HEAVENS.. Answer
each and every WHISPER and rumor that the insane coked up, over-viagra'd pisser makes.

Put it all right out there on the table. Show the people of the USA how ROVE OPERATES.

7. Don't be embarrassed.
It stands for "no text" and it means your entire message is in the subject. It's nice to do so people don't click on the topic expecting more.

8. In all the hullaballoo over using 9/11 in W*'s ads...
Everybody seems to have missed the outright lie to start the commercial - that he inherited an economy in recession in January 0f 2001! They use the big lie (that * wouldn't exploit 9/11 for political purposes) to cover the small lie (that Bush inherited a recession...)

11. As I watched the news last night I shook my head as....
ABC and NBC both reported that ~"President Bush went after (attacked) Senator Kerry on his record on intelligence..." they went on to make sure you knew that Bush leads Kerry in the polls with regard to the war on terror etc. ABC did actually say that that was the only area/issue that W leads Kerry on.

Not one time did they after any facts on that. No one mentioned that it was holding back funding until the National Reconaissance Office returned the BILLION dollars of TAXPAYER MONEY that it had accumulated and was basically a slush fund for defense contractors. The NRO makes our spy sattelites or contracts to have them made.

This morning I did hear someone mention that it was odd that W&Co. picked that bill as it never made it out of committee, W strangely and smirkingly remarked that it had no sponsors in the Senate-basically Kerry's attempt to force responsibility in handling of tax payers' money fell on deaf ears.

The strategy should to say basically that but please make sure it is short and sweet and can be said in one breath.....ah bumpersticker politics.

15. but that point is irrelevent; it puts us in the position of defending
CLINTON which is what they WANT us to do... to distract us from putting kerry out front.

They're wagging the clinton with the whole recession thing.

rove is the spin master.

16. He shouldn't react to them, but rather, drive his own agenda
There is so much ammo...stay on message and don't get sidetracked by the GOP's "politics of personal destruction."

17. Important point...
He should not respond to their personal attacks. He should stay on message and attack Bush in order to keep them on the defensive. They do not know how to campaign on the defensive. They have never had to do that.

18. As this Time article points out they are trying to define Kerry
and set the terms of the campaigns. Kerry doesn't need to reply to every attack but if he lets this "tried to cut intelligence funding" soundbite gain traction we may be hearing about it like Gore inventing the internet in 2000.

http://www.time.com/time/election2004/article/0,18471,596130,00.html

DEFINE YOUR ENEMY
How will the campaign take on Kerry? The multipronged strategy is to portray him as too liberal on issues like defense and tax cuts and too unsteady about important principles. That's why the Bush campaign rushed a Web ad comparing Kerry's vows to take on the special interests with his record as the Senate's leading recipient of special-interest money. Bush takes a far greater amount of such lobbyist money, Federal Election Commission records show, but proving Kerry's hypocrisy was worth exposing Bush's cozy relationship with corporate special pleaders.

22. Disheartening...
It's been disheartening to see that Kerry has not responded well to the initial salvos from Bushco and their media lapdogs. I hope it's just that he is worn out from an intense primary campaign...

He really needs Clintonesque war room types to respond to these attacks DAILY.

so well. You cannot take and keep the high ground with the bushistas. They have no shame and will do and say anything to win.

Show *'s flip-flops: nation-building, environmental issues, education, Homeland Security – everything he said in the campaign and since.
