3. what poll did you go to?
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 05:05 PM by amen1234

I stood outside the poll at the Beatley Library, in Alexandria Virginia, from 6 AM until 10 AM....slow but steady stream of voters....

the election officials rated the turnout at 'normal for a non-Presidential election"....plus, the weather is the BEST in the last few weeks...sunshine, reasonable winter temperatures....that makes a BIG difference for 'seniors'....the local radio just rated the turnout as GOOD....

4. sad, seems that NOBODY here on DU cared to vote today.....
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 05:42 PM by amen1234

it confirms what I have seen in campaigning for my candidate at the Virginia Metro-train stop for 3 hours yesterday evening AND at a major Virginia polling place from 6 AM to 10 AM this morning....

no draft-age YOUNG people are VOTING....

going like sheep to the slaughter...young and ignorant.....good catch for bush* minions....the YOUNG will be slaughtered in the bush* perpetual wars....

5. I voted
And so did my partner, and my best friend. When my partner voted at 5 PM she was the 340-something person at that polling place.
