All it will take is for ONE person to be brave, and then another, and another.. The admin is like Gulliver..they are tethered by hundreds of ropes, and even though we are "small", if there are enough of us, we can DO this..

Although we have been treated to a world-class vocabulary tutorial. It's amazing how many words and phrases, some of them quite fancy, are offered in the place of such a simple one: You Lied. You're Lying. He Lied. He's Lying.

But we've had mendacity, prevarication, misrepresentation, exaggeration, embellishing, embroidering, misinterpreting, backpeddling, stopped short of... , would not discuss... , dodged, and "weapons of mass destruction-related program activities" - maybe if you make it really long and complicated, people's memories these days are so short-term that they'll forget how the phrase started and the whole thing will just wash right over 'em. And those are just off the top of my head.

Somebody needs to start saying the "L" word. Hell, I'd even make this offer to any of the Dem candidates now. They're still pretty much pussy-footing around it, too.

But it HAS to be said. For heaven's sakes, what would we be mired in, right now, if it were a Democrat in the White House doing all this shit? What would they be saying about it, then? What would they NOT be saying about it?

Why don't we start a fund, get people to pledge money, and have Media Whores Online keep track. At the end, when it reaches hundreds of thousands of dollars or whatever, we could publicize the result to underscore how DESPERATE Americans are for a media
that isn't cowed by the Bush administration and/or their corporate masters.
In other words, can we PAY someone to just tell the truth?

7. I actually told my Rep, Doug Bereuter he was a liar...

in a "Town Meeting" we had here in NE. He was rambling on about SS and the deficit, and I called him a liar. I was, and to my knowledge, the only person ever escorted from a Norfolk Town Meeting.

I left to the cheers and applause of the some 60+ people there, and was having a smoke outside when the meeting broke up. People thanked me for being so "brazen", and calling it like I saw it.

BTW.....Bereuter is retiring from the House this year. I know I didn't have anything to do with that decision, but it tickles me a little to hope I did.

Of course, I write e-mails often calling many of the pundits liars and evil morons, but they have never once answered me; guess they are all talk and no action. O'Reilly is a native NY'er as am I, and he most likely got beat up a lot, both physically and mentally. He hasn't the morality of a alley cat, and screeches just as loud. Pathetic bully that can't come to grips with reality.
