Republican Presidential Candidate J. Buchanan takes on 9-11 lies
..thought this was pretty interesting, first I'd heard of it..

Republican Candidate for President takes on the 9-11 issue

John Buchanan documented the Prescott Bush/Nazi finance story last fall (the NH Gazette to AP -- see
http://tinyurl.com/rfiz ).

Last month he was asked by patrician Republican and Earth Day founder, John McConnell to run against Bush in the NH GOP Primary.

1. John Buchanan's Prescott Bush research
was outstanding.

I hope he does some good with this.
I wish the Dem candidates would talk more about 9-11.

2. I heard he was on MSNBC last night
but apparently no mention of 9/11 there - but 9/11 is going to be his platform. God I wish that story would break wide open - that is the only thing that will rid us of this cancer in the WH. The media is being typically "silent" pretty much on the matter.

4. Probably not very good but
the important thing is if he can get any Repub to hear and give a thought to 9/11.

6. The chances - a koZmiQue pErSpeCtiVe

(You are welcome to copy or forward this).

High up on the flank of Cannon mountain in Franconia Notch, NH -- the Old Man of the Mountain lost his face - literally - on May 3, 2003, the day after President George W. Bush paraded across the deck of the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, and declared "Mission Accomplished" in Iraq.

I was struck by the sequence of events. Bush parades on Abe Lincoln deck, then the Old Man of the Mountain loses face immediately thereafter. What's going on here? Is the mountain trying to tell us something?

Old Man Loses Face - May 3, 2003:
http://gonewengland.about.com/cs/nhhistory/l/bloldmanofmtn.htm

For Granite Staters -- and for all who had ever seen him -- the collapse of the Old Man's face was a first-class tragedy because the Old Man was a symbol of honesty, dignity, and honor. He seemed eternal.

I always thought of the Old Man's profile as embodying the same qualities as Old "Honest Abe" Lincoln, whose profile is so familiar to us from the penny. So I was deeply saddened to see him "lose face," and could not help but note that it came right after Bush pulled what was basically a PR stunt on the deck of our nation's Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier.

What right did he have to celebrate and "Declare Victory"? Hundreds of our soldiers have died and been grievously wounded since that day, not to mention the ongoing misery for their families at home and the families in Iraq.

At the time I was inclined to take this monumental loss of the Old Man's face in the Granite State as some sort of cosmic sign that the heavens frowned upon Bush's hollow boasting.

After all, as we now know the Iraq war is based on made-up stories. Iraq had no WMDs, and no connection to the tragedy that befell America on 9/11. This is apparently a war of aggression and conquest. That's why our young men and women have their lives on the line in Iraq. it has little to do with our national defense or our true honor. It has a lot to do with power and oil.

Now that I have read Sevethson's essay about the candidacy of John Buchanan in the NH Republican primary, I see things in a different light. I see the loss of face of the Old Man of the Mountain as a possible omen that G.W. Bush may well lose face before the voters of NH.

Will Bush be surprised during the NH primary? We shall see.

Here's Seventhson's discussion thread on the NH Republican candidacy of John Buchanan against G. W. Bush.

Buchanan's campaign -- and his research -- are sincere, and worthy of every voter's consideration.

10. from a speech in Manchester
He is quite serious about his message:

SPEECH TO MANCHESTER SUPPORT GROUP 1/7/04

Good afternoon and thank you for welcoming me so warmly.

I stand before you today less as a candidate and more as a messenger and the message I bear is simple and stark. We have all been lied to about 9/11, the country is in mortal danger and only you can make it right.

If you need a label, I stand here as a 9/11 Truth Candidate and some may thus dismiss me as a single-issue candidate and in a narrow sense that is true. But if you consider that 9/11 has led us into fiscal ruin, endless war and constitutional twilight, my issue is the mother issue of our age.

That said let me return to the 9/11 message the first line of which is this:

They wanted it to happen.

They being the neocon members and associates of PNAC, the Project for a New American Century, an ultra-rightwing think tank and mouthpiece for Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and most Bush handlers these days. Cheney, Wolfowitz and their PNAC fellows had been campaigning publicly for Mideast oil wars since 2000, but also said publicly that the American people were not likely to buy these plans without a quote "catastrophic and catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor"  unquote.

Wow. This guy is more on top of 9/11 than any of our candidates. They should take a page out of his book, this page anyway.

18. Buchanan's a life-long Democrat who was persuaded that taking the fight
to the Republican primary might make an impact, and could give an opportunity for Republicans who are disgusted with Bush to register their disapproval.

On Malloy this week he named Cynthia McKinney as one of his heroes.

in NH.

Only motivated voters will choose to deal with the inevitable ice. I know, I lived there for over 20 years. If you don't feel you "have to go out" you stay home by the wood stove or whathaveyou.

That could work to Buchanan's favor...you never know. He might get enough votes on the R side to raise a few more eyebrows across the fruited plains.

20. I've heard Wes Clark talking about holding Bush accountable
on a number of occasions, for the failures that led up to 9/11.

Probably more than all of the other candidates combined.

It's one of the many things I like about Clark, and it hilights his national security credibility over BushCo, which is going to be very valuable in the general election.

Buchanan IS a registered Democrat. He's taking a page out of the vile Republican game book and running as one of them.

for the Democrats. Why does someone have to register as a Republican to put light on the 9-11 deception? I guess we all owe a great deal of gratitude to John Buchanan.
