Anyone watching cable heard anything? I'll scour some more news sites but I thought we'd have some by now!

1. Why, They're \right Over Here!
Next to the surveys showing how fabulously well retailers did this Christmas season, and the data on the tremendous job growth we've had in the 24 months since the 8 month long recession was declared officially over....

4. Here you go! I found one!
I saw it reported on CNN Wednesday morning, but it has been, shall we say, "under-reported"?

one snip:
Typically, presidential speech watchers disproportionately identify with the party of the president. Last night, the imbalance in favor of the president's party was higher than last year's, with 46% or respondents identifying as Republicans, 28% as independents, and 26% as Democrats -- a 20-point difference between Republicans and Democrats. Last year, the comparable figures showed 40% of speech watchers identifying as Republicans, 31% as independents, and 28% as Democrats -- a 12-point difference between parties. This year's figures are closer to the percentages found in 2002, when 50% of speech watchers were Republican and 25% each were independents and Democrats.

Among those who watched Clinton's speeches, Democrats outnumbered Republicans by margins that ranged from 7 to 15 percentage points. When the senior Bush gave his fourth State of the Union address in election year 1992, Republicans outnumbered Democrats in the post-speech poll by just six percentage points, 37% to 31%

5. Can someone with mathematical skills translate those numbers
to see what the reaction would have been if equal numbers from both sides had watched?

This is a disaster for Chimp because of the dramatic decline in Democrats even bothering to watch. The lack of interest from the Dems could only mean their minds are made up and there is nothing he could have said that was of interest to them.

Maybe he can win without any real Democratic support, he has rigged the polls after all, but it will be hard to fudge a landslide.

6. They clearly didn't want us doing that, since Gallup is not reporting out
their findings by self-reported political grouping. So, there's no way to do so... Not surprising...

7. Odd--I was trying to find more, but couldn't
As best I recall, 71% of republicans thought he did a good job, 36% of independents and 28% of democrats.
I'll keep looking.
