NYTimes can't make Bush coherent--Bush's "response" to O'Neill
Bush Disputes Ex-Official's Claim That Iraq War Was Early Goal
By RICHARD W. STEVENSON

Published: January 13, 2004

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/01/13/politics/13ONEI.html

"And no, the stated policy of my administration toward Saddam Hussein was very clear," Mr. Bush said at a news conference in Monterrey, Mexico, when asked whether he had begun planning within days of his inauguration for an invasion of Iraq. "Like the previous administration, we were for regime change."

"And in the initial stages of the administration, as you might remember, we were dealing with desert badger or fly-overs and fly-betweens and looks, and so we were fashioning policy along those lines," Mr. Bush continued, APPARENTLY REFERRING to confrontations with Iraq over the no-flight zones. "And then all of a sudden September the 11th hit."

(Capitals on APPARENTLY REFERRING added by me)

------------------------------

I do love it when the media has to admit he makes no sense at all!

It must be so hard for them to say a bad thing about their dear Dubya...

2. He must have made it up
Edited on Tue Jan-13-04 01:51 AM by uhhuh
I just googled Desert Badger and Iraq...no results. Either this was a secret operation, or he is talking out his ass again. You pick. I have my choice noted.

On edit: there was an Operation Badger during Vietnam, but I can't see the chimp knowing anything about anything that happened in that war.

15. You may be on to something. If Operation Desert Badger was not made
public, then bush* disclosed covert operations DURING WARTIME! TRAITOR!! PleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePlease let someone (Greg Palast or whoever) come forward with info that bush* disclosed National Security Information on FOREIGN SOIL AT A PRESS CONFERENCE!!

It may not be really as big a deal as I make it seem, but we don't have to tell bush* that.

Benedict bush*, revealing secret info during wartime on foreign soil. The trial for treason should be short.

It's a cross between a hyena, an ostrich and a Republican.

9. I think maybe...
Reagan needs to scoot over and make room for the shrub. Or maybe they'll send him to that same doc Limbaugh visited in NYC for a weekend "tune up" to clear his puffy head.

22. Its his Pokemon character on Gameboy.
Bush is probably referring to the battles he has on his Gameboy Advance with his pokemon characters, like "Desert Badger" and "Terrachu".

"Gotta ketch'em all"

24. wears a MICROPHONE in his ear!!
After careful study of Bush's recent flubbing about Dean's 9-11 concern, a few of us concluded that the puppet's stammering was caused by a simple communication misunderstanding.

The reporter asked whether Dean's 9-11 comments amounted to 'political hate speech'. Bush answered:
'Well, there are politics' . . .
- pause, mumble . . .
- hmm iumm doh uh oor err -
there are politics'

We believe he was told to say
'There are politics, then there are politics'
The double phrase simple confused his little brain
and thus the awkward stammering.

Then Bush finally pronounces that Dean's allegation is
"an absurd insinuation".
Don't we know by now that Bush does not think in
phrases like "absurd insinuation" !

Someone is telling our puppet EXACTLY what to say,
everytime he speaks. i have noticed that Bush "seems"
to actually be becoming more articulate. That is really
not the case, his earpiece person is just being more
careful with what they are feeding him.

Does anyone have the link for that quick time footage?
Watch it carefully and you will also be convinced.

Americans deserve to know about this issue.
