1. Only if a few Republicans will go along with them
Since the Repubs in Congress consistently pick Party over their country - it's doubtful.

7. Who cares if they are successful? It is the principle involved, whether
successful or not, we must stand on principle and if the President committed treason, we must do our work to uphold the constitution!

2. It would be an uphill battle with the rethuglicans in control of both
house and senate. They know they probably wouldn't get the votes needed. That is my guess.

3. Kerry mentioned it yesterday in an Iowa speech in Des Moines
He's already started investigations into Rove and the Wilson case. I saw him in a stump speech mention some of what O'Neill had said about Bush and jobs.

This is only the beginning.

6. I woke up this morning upset with all Democratic congresspeople
the more I observe the more I'm apalled that they have allowed Republicans to rob, strip, manhandle, intimidate, demeand and silence us.

They are more willing to accomodate Republicans then lose an election and allow someone else who has a stronger voice and better ideas about countering the takeover of our country by former countrymen.

I decided decades ago to be an independent and now I know why.

8. I am so angry everyday, words cannot express it
But I'll try:

The mass media are on their knees to BushCo, the most criminal administration in history.

How in the hell did we get here?

11. democrats can't impeach Bush
if they could, there is a lot of other hard stuff out there they would use before they would use these comments from O'Neill.

The documents that author is talking about is another matter, those could add to the list of impeachable offenses that the republicans won't impeach Bush for.

12. Obviously Democrats cannot impeach because they do not have the..
numbers in the House. But they could and should use this against all the Repub incumbents for not holding this pResident to the legal requirements of his job. He should be impeached from what we know at this time.
