North Korea has always been a greater threat than Iraq could ever be, and bush has only made it worse by publically criticizing Kim Jong Il's leadership. And clearly he is endangering the nation by not intervening in their nuclear weapon ambitions. On the other hand, what could you possibly do to minimize threat of war from what is probably the most well-indoctrinated totalitarian nation in history? I don't see any fathomable solution to the north korea problem, no matter what the reason if kim jong il's leadership is ever in danger, he won't hesitate to use nukes. Even if we somehow manage to execute kim jong il and destroy his missile silos before he can launch anything, Seoul (south koreas capital city) will still be decimated and just taking down the leader can't possibly deter the fanatically loyal 1,000,000 man army. His army is irreversibly indoctrinated and will fight to the last man with any weapon at hand given the chance. It is my honest opinion that it is the responsibility of japan, south korea and china to get kim jong il to disarm.
