With debate raging about healthcare reform, some people it’s time for a good book.

Howard Dean -- 2004 Democratic presidential candidate, former Vermont governor and former National Democratic Committee Chairman -- opens this year’s Concord Festival of Authors, reading from his book, “Howard Dean’s Prescription for Real Healthcare Reform.”

Dean believes in a public healthcare option, although the issue continues to divide political leaders and the public.

There won’t be someone from the other side, but Rob Mitchell, director of the festival, said members of the public are invited and encouraged to state all points of view.
