Rod Blagojevich, the Illinois Governor, was yesterday preparing to break his silence for the first time since being accused of a “political corruption crime spree” that included efforts to sell Barack Obama’s Senate seat for cash. He told reporters that he could not wait to “tell my side of the story”, perhaps within the next 24 hours.

“There’s a time and place for everything,” he said, “that day will soon be here and you might know more about that today, maybe tomorrow.”...

Someone once told me that there are two sides to every story, and before you make up your mind about a given situation, you should hear both sides.

Don't look like Blago is going anywhere anytime soon.

On edit: I have also heard it said that if you follow the herd, you step in shit. I think the media and lots of other people have already done that by hearing one side of the story and rushing to judgement.

1. I'd like to hear Blago's side of the story.
I've thought from the beginning that Fitzgerald arrested him too soon. Blago might be guilty or he might not be but the herd mentality is ruling without all the facts.

3. Must have been a real bidding war to interview him.
Your right though, I would like to hear his side of the story...I want to hear a recording of what he said as well to prove it wasn't an irritating joke he kept repeating to his friends.
