(McClatchy Newspapers) This article reports on the sources of the lies about Senator Barack Obama-including a "former" CIA employee.

3. I've learned quite a bit about the distinctions between Departments-I'm all for those
loyal to our Constitution, as well as most of the analytical folks that kept US out of nuclear war.

I despise the black-ops crew though...and since the Agency has been militarized under the BFEE-well golly....

11. the CIA is fine when they are fucking with other people..
but they need to leave us alone. That's the FBIs job to try and destroy people's lives. sadly, not a snark.

2. Here's an interesting nugget:
But a few months after the man began his work, the allegation that Obama was educated in a madrassa appeared in an anonymous article in Insight Magazine, an online publication of the Unification Church, in January 2007.

The Unification Church . . .

4. I suspect much of the rumor-mongering came thru the evangelical
groups. I first began receiving the emails thru friends who belong to some of the evangelical-type churches and had a terrible time refuting them. I finally succeeded, but once they come from the pulpit, they are THE TRUTH and you really have to come up with a lot of background information to deprogram them.

It is frustrating.

6. Moonie
The question remains. Is Moon attempting to quash the Constitution? Is Yoo a Moonie plant to that end?

7. The Moonies...
But a few months after the man began his work, the allegation that Obama was educated in a madrassa appeared in an anonymous article in Insight Magazine, an online publication of the Unification Church, in January 2007. It also claimed that Clinton operatives had dug up the information. The article was cited by several conservative commentators, including on Fox News, before it was debunked.

The piece had the markings of what's called a "false-flag" operation: Make a covert operation appear to be the work of another party. And, like many misinformation campaigns, it "takes what you might believe without any factual basis and seen circulating around ...a lot of speculation spun into a story," said Vince Cannistraro, a former CIA official.

They are horrible! I hate to stoop to their level....but are we gonna let them win the email propaganda campaign? I wish my democrat friends would forward me Democrat propaganda so I could send it to the people who send me all the horrible ones about Obama, not to mention the anti-immigrant ones.

10. It's Larry fuckin Johnson...
He's a crazy anti-semite and racist. For whatever reason, his brains got warped from his time at the CIA and he is convinced Obama is some sort of Manchurian candidate (although the premise of the original movie was a manchurian candidate that was a POW in southeast Asia, ironically enough). Johnson has convinced mydd and taylor marsh to join his crusade of hatred. The internet has allowed racists to multiply, especially when people believe every email they get. If I believed every email I have been sent, I would be bankrupt from Viagra purchases, I'd have an 8 foot penis, I'd win some money from a Nigerian friend, and I would be nailing 80 different chicks that apparently want to see my penis. Increased access to pathways of knowledge , for whatever reason, seems to increase the number of chronically stupid.
