Bush: "I'm not a statistician"
Remember the report of the WH Coucil of Economic Advisors, which said -- among other things -- that exporting jobs overseas is a good thing? Well, it also predicted the creation of 2.6 million jobs by the end of this year. Now it turns out even Bush himself doesn't believe it...

White House downplays job predictions

WASHINGTON (AP) --The White House backed away Wednesday from its own prediction that the economy will add 2.6 million new jobs before the end of this year, saying the forecast was the work of number-crunchers and that President Bush was not a statistician.

White House press secretary Scott McClellan, asked repeatedly about the forecast, declined to embrace the prediction which was contained in the annual economic report of the White House Council of Economic Advisers.

5. Thanks to Bush, the only true democracy in the US is The Brady Bunch
Meanwhile, the WH has become Bush's personal "Fantasy Island," knee-deep in drunks and drug addicts.

He knew that his Sec. of Treasury wasn't right, that takes economic insight.

8. Especially since
he has ran a corporation before. Also, owned a major league baseball team. He had to have had an accountant to handle all of those salaries. But, since we are talking about a whole country, I guess the rules have changed.

10. You'd think so
But the MBA program here at Harvard has been drifting away from qualitative analysis for some time now.

12. Why not? He writes off the entire Iraq War by saying, basically...
... "I'm not an intelligence analyst."

Once again, it's somebody else's fault for providing him with bad info.

That's leadership for you!

15. Well I am, and the data tell me....
That W is an idiot.

I'm looking at very strong Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient that points in that direction. See below:

        Bush   Idiot
Bush    1.0   .999
Idiot   .999   1.0

I am a semi-conscious, non-statistician with a limited capacity for processing. Please be patient.

20. Mind-boggling exchange from Scotty
"We are interested in reality," McClellan said

BWH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

He said the annual economic report was based on data from about three months ago. Since then, Bush has said that things are improving.

So.....they backed off on the big jobs prediction because things are improving? So the better the economy gets, the fewer the jobs?

So if jobs tank, then we know the economy is really taking off?

And the more attacks we have in Iraq, we know we're really winning?
