1. Very moving

I've wondered why Bush* hasn't gone to Walter Reed. I remember reading that FDR would visit wounded soldiers and, at least in the orthopedic wards, he would visit in his wheelchair. These visits were about the only time he would make a public appearance using the chair. At least the WWII wounded knew they had a president who understood what they were facing.

3. If **** really cared about the troops

I think he would have found some time to check out some of the living quarters and visit whith some of the wounded instead of just popping in for a photo-op. BTW I spent twelve years active duty in the Marines.

4. so why doesn't the media

send a team to Landstuhl, Germany to do a story like this? CNN, ABC, NBC etc?

These women and men are HEROES.
