4. That's not even the worst part.
This is the worst part:

On Thursday night President Bush spoke to the nation from my city. I am not a Republican. I did not vote for George W. Bush -- in fact, I worked pretty hard against him in 2000 and 2004. But on Thursday night, after watching him speak from the heart, I could not have been prouder of the president and the plan he outlined to empower those who lost everything and to rebuild the Gulf Coast.

What are you proud of? His words? They're just that! Words! He has done next to nothing in helping the poor people in NO, Miss., and AL.

7. You're correct
She's always been both an apologist and an incompetent campaign manager.

No doubt, someone in Bush land is giving her a nice, cushy consulting contract.

10. Weak link...
that she always was to the Democrat movement, her statement supporting * totally nauseates me. I call it aiding and abetting the enemy........If Lousianna were my home, I would be outraged at the way the administration, particularly the pres*, has handled the hurricane diaster. How can she do this???????:grr:

11. She almost lost every stinking member of her family...
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 01:57 PM by Totally Committed
we prayed, hoped, kept vigil with her. AND THIS IS HOW SHE REACTS TO THE DISASTER THAT NEARLY COST HER HER FAMILY??????????

I swear, my friends... This Party has Stockholm Syndrome BAD. Our "leaders" IDENTIFY WITH THEIR (and our) OPPRESSORS WAY TOO OFTEN.

This sucks, Donna! ---- I wasn't crazy about her Republican-lite tendencies and her friendship with Rove before, but now, I have no use for her at all. She needs to leave the Party and take Lieberman and all the other DINO's with her.

Goddam!

12. People like her
and Lieberman are our party's worst enemies. We need good, solid, PROGRESSIVE leaders, like Dean and Clark. Otherwise, we're going to keep getting rolled over again and again and again. She did not work hard at getting either Gore or Kerry elected, either. Everything she says is tepid and wishy-washy, and we need fire.

13. With 'friends' like her
who needs the right wing to attack the progressive dems? These DINO's are either really, really stupid or complicit with the repukes.

14. Bush & Repugs rescued her Dad and missing sister from New Orleans..!
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 02:36 PM by KoKo01
CNN's Wolf devoted a whole segment in "Situation Room" to the plight of her sister and dad who were missing. Wolf said she was a long time personal friend of hers...So of course she would praise Bush.

I wondered at the time why Donna Brazille's family got more airtime than other families...but then we Dems have long known Donna's friends were more on the Repug side than the Dem. :-(

15. Wow. How could anyone be so gullible? Bush's recovery plan
is to throw huge amounts of money at his corporate cronies to essentially take over New Orleans in their own elitist, corrupt image.

What is the matter with this woman?

17. Biden was sucking up too - just sent this letter to him
Dear Senator Biden:

Note to self, Senator Biden: if you want to have a snowball's chance in hell of being the Democratic nominee for president, then you have better stop saying such stupid things like: "Gee, I am so impressend with my president, and so proud of him after his New Orleans speech." You are the butt of much derision on dailykos.com on this thread right here:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/9/17/155746/665

You and Donna Brazile and all of the other Bush butt-kissers had better get a clue: the base is disgusted with you for rolling over for a man who gives a speech promising billions in aid, for which he will NEVER raise taxes, and who will pay for it by just cut spending for those same people who were affected by the hurricane.

But perhaps you, who voted "Yea" on the bankruptcy bill which will rape average Americans so your friends at the credit card companies can make more billions, don't really give a damn about the average Americans.

We see through you, and good luck running for President - you don't have a chance unless you become a populist candidate who cares more about the average American than you do about your fat-cat friends who run the corporations.

Adigal

18. These people don't learn...
Didn't we try this crap after 9/11??? Uniting behind the President, blah, blah, blah...and look where it's gotten us now!!

I'm all for rebuilding New Orleans, and I know it will rise again...but geez, she's so far up there, she can probably taste his gin and tonic when he drinks!
