Matthew Simmons is an energy banker and served on the Cheney energy panel in 2001. He is as well connected as they come.

4. No Problem - There Are Many Credible People On Peak Oil
However, Simmons is one of the conservatives that has changed his opinion significantly over the last three years.

He was once of the cornucopia school on energy.

Now he understands that Peak Oil is a real problem.
