Prominent lawmakers and conservative activists will gather in the nation's capital for a conference to develop plans for combating judicial activism.

Confronting The Judicial War On Faith Conference, planned for April 7-8, will feature speakers Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas; Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan.; former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore; former Vatican Ambassador Ray Flynn; former presidential candidate and ambassador Alan Keyes; Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum; and counsel for Terri Schiavo's parents David C. Gibbs.

Organizers see the conference as especially timely with the battle over Terri Schiavo's life, the state court decision voiding California's defense of-marriage law, the uncertain fate of Bush judicial nominees and the pending Supreme Court decision on public display of the Ten Commandments.

5. It's all a matter of framing. They get a lot of press when they

present the judges as threats to America, but I don't see or hear any explanations from the other side as to why we need judges, or why separation of powers is important. At least not in the MSM. That concerns me.

changed his mind and said Teri Shiavo's feeding tube should be re-inserted, THAT Judge would NOT be deemed as activist to these cretins. THAT Judge would be upholding the law of god, who we ALL know, trumps any law of man, correct? :eyes:
