Rummy and Imperial Wars forever...
Rummy the imperial chikenhawk out of control and fattening his wallet

The document explicitly acknowledges America's global military mandate, beyond regional war theaters. This mandate also includes military operations directed against countries, which are not hostile to America, but which are considered strategic from the point of view of US interests.

From a broad military and foreign policy perspective, the March 2005 Pentagon document constitutes an imperial design, which supports US corporate interests Worldwide.

"At its heart, the document is driven by the belief that the U.S. is engaged in a continuous global struggle that extends far beyond specific battlegrounds, such as Iraq and Afghanistan. The vision is for a military that is far more proactive, focused on changing the world instead of just responding to conflicts such as a North Korean attack on South Korea, and assuming greater prominence in countries in which the U.S. isn't at war. (WSJ, 11 March 2005)"

My bet is bush family walks away from the crippled economy and everlasting wars with huge money and their dynasty thriving...

once a war profiteer..always

I keep looking for a scapecoat that bush can blame any mistakes upon but then I remember that royalty such as bush NEVER admits their mistakes or anything for that matter..

1. I try very hard to stay balanced, but this thought is just tooo much
" My bet is bush family walks away from the crippled economy and everlasting wars with huge money and their dynasty thriving..."

The Bush family and all of their buddies will not experience any of the consequences of what they do.

Republicans supposedly respect personal responsibility, but they avoid it at every opportunity.

They are an insult to people with real values.

3. And to think...Jeb will consider 08
I read "American Dynasty" by Kevin Phillips, himsely a recovering republican now Indepenedent..
He outlines the entire history of family bush back to Sam Bush and his war connection in WW I to Prescott and Fritz Thulsen in WW II and to bush sr and his obvious intell connections and of course Carlyle group.

He presents the bush family as a red, white and blue blooded syndicate with too much ambition and intense affluence particularly with their connections to nobility.

They have NEVER produced a doctor,attorney,professor,scientist,philosopher..
BUSH family = wall st.,war profits, intell, royalty and connections connections connections

2. This article (WSJ 3.11.05) noted his plans for a new military
that would be very mobile to support pre-emptive strikes. For anyone who read the article, it gives the impression that the BFEE would like to be prepared to invade any country they disagreed with.

Also, the Pentagon document looks at changing the military after the bush admin has left - makes you wonder what they've got planned for the next election.

4. Here is the war document itself- straight from the PNAC :
The key words in the document:

"The only way to fulfill the military aspect of this commitment is by increasing the size of the force available to our civilian leadership.

"Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution places the power and the duty to raise and support the military forces of the United States in the hands of the Congress"

((.....stops short of suggesting there should be a draft.. but the term "draft" can easily be replaced by something less harsh-sounding..such as "educational experience-supplement."))

5. Well, what comes immediately to mind is
how necessary it is, from a cosmic point of view, that what we see happening all about us -- the decline of the U.S. -- is absolutely essential (again, from a cosmic point of view) so that it ceases to be such a threat and menace to the whole rest of the world.

We could call that decline instant karma if we had a mind to.
