1. If the 9th Circuit doesn't postpone it, nobody will...
looks like it's set in stone for 7 October.

2. Well, I hope not.

3. Good. Let's get this thing over with already.
I got my sample ballot in the mail today. I took a quick peek before going to work. Arnold Schwarzenegger is second to last on the last card.

:D

6. Candidates' names are rotated by assembly district...
Each name will be in 80 different places depending on the assembly district. This was designed decades ago to factor out the effect of the lazy voter who happens to check the name at the top of the list "just because."

7. That's a good thing that you got your ballot.
I am of the mind that I hope there is a lot of early absentee voting. Particularly with the candidate field as it currently stands.

5. What about Bush Vs Gore. Doesn't it apply to the Cali recall?
Wouldn't this recall cause damage to the "fairly elected" candidate Gray Davis?

8. Bush vs Gore had nothing to do with "fairly elected". Taylor-made
for bush only, not applicable to anyone not named bush (trully!)
I hope you took the moveon pledge
