Americans In Mass Grave In Falluja? (graphic images)
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 02:52 PM by greendeerslayer
(I was skeptical until I saw the one corpse with the tribal-style tattoo on his upper arm. How many Iraqis/Arabs have such tattoos?)

Eye witnesses in Falluja have claimed this morning (Wednesday, September 22) that some civilians have detected a mass grave in the north western sector of the city containing the bodies of sixteen people of foreign appearance.

The witnesses have informed the correspondent of the German News Agency that the inhabitants of that area have detected a grave this morning at 11 a.m. local time which contained the dead bodies of 16 foreigners who have recently been killed and probably belong to American soldiers who were buried in a ditch in the North West sector of the city.

3. I imagine...
There are hundreds of special forces in Iraq and Afghanistan who don't really exist, except in a file folder in Washington, D.C. Their deaths go unreported, since they aren't really there in the first place.

There were hundreds of special forces in Iraq six months before we officially invaded, and special forces in Afghanistan before the week of Sept. 11 was over -- there were bound to be some casualties among those groups.

10. you got that right. The military lists them as killed in "accidents"
or whatever.

My father who was an army officer his whole career, told me this is how it works when people die in top-secret situations.

Wouldn't there be some families here in the states questioning the whereabouts of their missing relative though? Of course with this administration, anything is possible

4. I won't even pretend to understand what this means.
I don't see how the Army burying killed soldiers will prevent them from being counted - maybe as MIA instead of KIA? But in the end the difference is minimal, isn't it?

7. The Bush administration has never cared about 'in the end'
They are only worried about how to spin things for TODAY. Let some other administration explain where all the GIs disappeared to -- that would be their attitude towards this.

If faced with a choice between a political problem now and a larger disaster of credibility later, they'll choose to avoid the problem now and tempt a worse disaster later every time.

They can't face the consequences of their actions -- this would be right in keeping with that sentiment.

5. Don't forget that many in the US military are not Americans nowdays
The military has a 'citizenship for service' scam going on where they recruit men from other countries (Latin Americans, predominately) to serve in the US military in exchange for fast-track citizenship. Last I'd heard, there were over ten thousand non-citizen US soldiers in this situation.

How many of them have any way of notifying their families if they are killed?

8. i'm willing to bet
these are mercs, spooks, or other 'expendables' working covert or not so covert ops...obviously their deaths will never be reported in mainstream media, only to their loved ones...Halliburton, Blackwater, or some other taxpayer-funded 'private security contractor'

9. Would the families miss them?
People disappear all the time. Look at dead beat dads, pretty hard to find sometimes. Also who know theses could be private contractors so there really wouldnt be any "obligation" to contact the families anyhow. Hows that for private enterprise!
Its also kinda weird to look at some of the memorial websights that have pictures of all the dead soldiers and some of them have a soldier silhoette and the words "no photo available", kinda like my high school yearbook. I went for the army physical and they take all sorts of pictures of you. They also record tattoos and birthmarks. You'd think they'd have pictures (like a drivers liscence) of all military personel. Just weird thats all.
