Bush To Announce US Troop Overseas Repositioning Monday

President George W. Bush will announce Monday a major shift in the U.S. military global posture, involving the repositioning tens of thousands of troops, Fox News reported Friday.

Sources say some troops in South Korea and Germany will be moved to new NATO countries in eastern Europe, Fox News said.

Some troops in Asia will be repositioned and some will be brought back to the U.S., according to the report.

1. I wonder if he's going to also change the Presidential directive
limiting Reserve force tours to 24 months total in a particular theater. Right now many of us that were in Iraq last year can't be redeployed because it would put us over the 24 month limit, if he changes this it's wide open, no limits. :shrug:
