Chinese military `expert' warns of Taiwanese terror
AFP , BEIJING
Saturday, Jun 19, 2004,Page 3

Pro-independence forces in Taiwan might launch terrorist attacks on China, Chinese state media charged yesterday as it linked Taiwan to the banned "evil cult" Falun Gong.

In what appeared to be a new campaign to blacken the name of President Chen Shui-bian (???), the China Daily ran an opinion piece headlined "Terrorism part of Taiwan separatist agenda."

Citing military experts and researchers on Taiwan studies, it said terrorism could be used "in an attempt to split the island from China."

It also condemned the US "for instigating Taipei to engage in terrorism to hurt China's core national interests."

After laughing for 10 minutes I've thought the dirty Communist Chinese Pigs might actually convince Westerners of this using their puppet Media Whores like Mikie 'Whore' Chinoy and puppet Jackie 'Whore' Chan. If 'The Hunting of the President' can happen in America and people know about it but it's NOT aired to the citizens then surely the media is 90% corrupt and the Communist Chinese probably have their plants in America too! Like Phillip Pan of the Washington Post.

6. Defense contractors stirring the pot
...setting the right mood for new acquisitions. It's the old anglo divide and conquer strategy.

Perhaps the Taiwanese should consider the track record of these advisors in Iraq and Korea.

USS Kitty Hawk - normally stationed in Japan, now moving towards China (Korea Operation)
USS Stennis - Pacific - headed for Taiwan (Korea Operation)
USS Carl Vinson – Pacific - headed for Taiwan (Korea Operation)
USS Abraham Lincoln - Pacific (backup-Korea Operation)

6 more CSG's deployment underway.
(CVN Nimitz operational Sep 1
only Eisenhower RCOH in port).

Unquestionably, it was a defining moment in
Naval
Aviation history, made all the more remarkable
given
the deployment of Kitty Hawk, Roosevelt
and
Enterprise (CVN-65), just the year before in support
of
Enduring Freedom. Moreover, the deployment of 182 ships
of
all types between January and May of 2003
powerfully demonstrated the ability of the U.S. Navy to
surge combat
power forward.

Adm Fallon USN
Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command
March 2004:

...we’re working to meet the CNO goal of “presence with
a purpose,” employing CSGs in support of well-
defined missions rather than deploying merely for the sake
of maintaining a presence.

Current deployment-June 2004:

Ships and Submarines
Ships: 295

Ships Underway (away from homeport):
164 (56% of total)

On deployment:
108 ships (37% of total)

Submarines underway (away from homeport):
30 submarines (57% of submarine force)

Submarines on deployment:
8 submarines (15% of submarine force)

NB: Most ships left port with little notice and were markedly understaffed.

9. Nobody ever accused the Chinese of being stupid
If the US can get away with doing anything it wishes in the name of "Terrorism" then why not other countries? What objections could the US possibly come up with that wouldn't undermine it's own imperial plans.
