U.S. Troops Enter Pakistani Tribal Region

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- U.S. soldiers strayed into Pakistani territory while hunting al-Qaida and Taliban suspects in southeastern Afghanistan and were turned back by Pakistani troops, a military official said Wednesday.

American soldiers in at least three military vehicles entered Pakistan's Lowara Mandi town in the North Waziristan tribal region on Sunday evening, said a Pakistan army spokesman, Maj. Gen. Shaukat Sultan.

The U.S. troops on Sunday searched shops and a gas station for suspected terrorists for at least 20 minutes in Lowara Mandi, about 225 miles southwest of the capital, Islamabad, Sultan said.

Pakistani troops arrived and told the Americans they were in Pakistan. The U.S. soldiers apologized and returned to Afghanistan, he said.

Sultan said the U.S. troops came 200-300 yards inside Pakistan, across a rugged, mountainous border that's not clearly marked.



So let me see it I get this right? US troops stray over the Afghan/Pakistan border for 20 minutes, in one of the most rugged regions in the world, and the Pakistanis are on them like stink on shit. Now tell me again, they don't know where Osama is?

Oh I for got our guys never learn that stuff. I met alot of people from this country in Saudi and they did not like Am or Can or the Eng. Funny how you get to be did-liked when you go with a country that rules other countries.I kept telling that I was an Am and not Eng. but we all were just grouped as one people.
