Twisted remnant of Sept. 11 tragedy will go on display
BY Thomas M. Defrank
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Thursday, November 24 2011, 10:05 PM

DALLAS Youd expect George W. Bushs library to be Texas-sized, and 43s monument to his eight years as President wont disappoint when it opens in the spring of 2013.

But a solitary jagged, twisted reminder of New York Citys worst day will unquestionably become the centerpiece of the 43,000 artifacts available for display at the library and its adjoining institute.

The 16.7-foot, 1.85-ton piece of mangled steel isnt just any relic from Americas hallowed ground experts say its impact steel, struck directly by one of the hijacked jets that slammed into the Twin Towers on 9/11.

Engineers who have studied the steel known as a C-11 panel say its the remnant of a triple-beam and crossbeam section from three upper floors.

What a fitting tribute to arguably the greatest failure of that worthless ape's rancid presidency.

16. The Failure Showcase.
Of course, the entire library is a monument to failure: how not to get elected, how not to tally votes, how not to run an administration, who not to put in your administration, who not to put on the judge's bench, what things not to make administrative priorities, how not to conduct foreign policy, how not to negotiate with political rivals, how not to play the international political game, etc.

there's a piece of it at the "patriot memorial" in wellington, florida. along with a fountain and an eternal flame. i can't figure out what's patriotic about it, but that's another story. there are pieces of it in palm beach gardens, tequesta, and all over the world. best i can figure is they've figured out how to make a profit out of it.

Even though Clarke had totally connected the dots about al Qaeda, his plans to strike first were met with a shelving of the plans---twice. The first meeting with Rice was right after * took office and the second time was in late Aug. 2001, as I recall. If this wasn't LIHOP, it was TOTAL incompetence and negligence.

That's a magical piece of steel, tho...it turned the first male First Lady in our nation's history into our first dictator. So it really needs to be in there.

On edit: Reagan's library contains a piece of the Berlin Wall that he had no role in opening, so Bush's library should contain a piece of the scrap Bush absolutely had a role in creating.

69. I would suggest a few additions to his library as well
How about the olane he allegedly flew as part of TANG during the Virtnam War?

Better yet, what the grades a legacy Yale attendee had, in the form of a report card.

Oh! What we really, really need to show would have to be surgically removed--Dick Cheney's boot up W's ass.

How about some of those shrubs he kept going back to Texas to clear off his ranch?

How about the blood of the first victims of the Iraq war, both our soldiers AND civilians.

M,,,...well, we could certainly show his bank statement with all the money he received from Enron, AIG or Goldman and Sachs.

Wow--this is so much fun! I can think of so many things we should put there. How about putting Babs there when she dies? Properly stuffed and mummiefied--oh wait, she already looks like a mummy.

We can't forget a blooper reel of all the moments of embarassment the American people had when their leader committed acts of horror on other leaders--like trying to give Angela Merkel a "neck massage," or fucking up when trying to get out of a door, proving that he is dumber than the door itself.

How about a copy of the Daily Memo (or whatever it was called) he received before 9/11? I think everyone in the country would like to see that.

Oh! We must include the "Mission Accomplished" banner. It could be strung up by the entrance to the library, and they sell Alka Seltzer right next to it for those with nausea.

I'm sure we could all add itemsm couldn't we? Just think of all the mortgages people could kindly add to the documents part of the library. Indeed, I almost forgot to add the "intelligence" presented by the admin. trying to validate going to war against Iraq.

This is fun.
