"Milwaukee County Deputies Help In Madison
Feb. 25, 2011 8:48 a.m. |
The Milwaukee County sheriff said he's sending deputies to Madison to help during protests at the Capitol over Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.

Sheriff David A. Clarke said 17 deputies will be there on Friday and 60 on Saturday. He said the Southeast Wisconsin Emergency Police Services coordinator and the State Department of Administration requested the help.

In a news release, he said the effort will not impact the level of public safety in Milwaukee County and the state is expected to reimburse the county."

7. Sheriff Clarke is a conservanazi in a Democrat's clothing.

Clarke likes to claim being a democrat. He's far from it. I'm sure he just loves Arpaio. He has lots of labor problems but he seems to bring it on. Clarke has never learned one simple thing about being a manager. In order to get respect, you need to give some.

I'm sure the deputies from Milwaukee will do the right thing unless they are Clarke's toadies. He's pissed off so many deputies in Milwaukee County that it wouldn't surprise me if they joined the protesters.

8. See how much money this is costing you, Scottie?
If you would kill the bill, and compromise, everyone could go home. All these people are getting paid a fortune in overtime. You will have to pay up, Scottie.
