Crashed plane owned by Pelham pawn shop
Source: The Birmingham News

A small plane that crashed in North East Lake, killing the pilot, was owned by a Pelham pawn shop, according to federal records.

According to Federal Aviation Administration aircraft registry, the plane was owned by the Pelham-based Sutter's Mill Gold & Jewelry and Pee Wee's Pawn Shop.

Calls to the pawn shop and a number given for Sutter's Mill tonight went unanswered.

The plane crashed at about 7 p.m. on 80th Street North, near the intersection of Seventh Avenue North.

Can't the bastards in the media at least wait until next of kin are notified before releasing this info?

1. At least they didn't print the name of the victim, still
the friends and family can put one and one together. Chances are the police released that info to the media.

7. It would have come out, so the blog didn't do anything
illegal or unethical. I would rather the family and friends would learn before the rest of us, but it can't always be that way.
