Mass. immigrant rally to target Brown holiday party

BOSTON (AP) -- Immigrant advocates are planning to rally outside a Christmas party hosted by U.S. Sen. Scott Brown to pressure the Massachusetts Republican to support the "DREAM Act."

Members and supporters of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition are scheduled to gather Friday afternoon outside the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston where Brown is slated to host the party.

The federal DREAM Act would allow some children of illegal immigrants to qualify for permanent legal residency by graduating from college or a trade school or by joining the military.

in the beat up red car he showed up in for Veterans memorial service in a working class city. This guy is such a schmuck. We need to get rid of him in 2012. He hasn't caught on to the fact that he was elected to represent the state of Ma and not Mississippi.
