Ad agency says it informed candidate of actor’s voice double
Source: WRAL Raleigh

Benjamin Mathis, with Los Angeles-based MEI Political, released a statement Tuesday morning, saying he told Fourth District candidate B.J. Lawson’s campaign, both verbally and in writing, that the voice in the ad was not that of the Oscar-winning actor..

"We also informed the campaign that even though the ad was similar to Morgan Freeman in style or tone, the campaign should not represent it as the actor Morgan Freeman or as an endorsement by Mr. Freeman,” Mathis said.

(...)

Lawson and campaign manager Martin Avila initially said Freeman did the ad. Avila later backed off that claim, saying the campaign had a $4,500 contract, signed Oct. 28, for one Freeman radio commercial.

3. Mr. Freeman answered back:
"These people are lying," Freeman said, according to a statement released by his public relations firm in Los Angeles. "I have never recorded any campaign ads for B.J. Lawson, and I do not support his candidacy. And no one who represents me ever has ever authorized the use of my name, voice or any other likeness in support of Mr. Lawson or his candidacy."

6. I saw that ad last night from that Canadian woman
who was panning Canadian health care and urging Americans not to accept it. Couldn't she be jailed for lying. I mean it was posted that she was and that Canada had done something about her, why doesn't the US. But then our DOJ is wimpy in prosecuting illegal acts performed by the republicans.

10. It happened the day before an election.
And it sounded just like him. And the article is from WRAL which is a local news station.
