Rand Paul part of AAPS doctors' group airing unusual views
Source: Louisville, Kentucky Courier-Journal.Com

Republican U.S. Senate nominee Rand Paul belongs to a conservative doctors’ group that, among other things, has expressed doubts about the connection between HIV and AIDS and suggested that President Barack Obama may have been elected because he was able to hypnotize voters.

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, based in Tucson, Ariz., advocates conservative and free-market solutions on health care and a variety of other political issues.

...

The AAPS article notes that the Obama campaign logo “might just be the letter ‘O,’ but it also resembles a crystal ball, a favorite of hypnotists.”

And it suggests that hypnosis is the reason some Jewish people backed him.

1. look into my eyes-- you're feeling sleepy, very sleepy....
Yeah, like anyone with three neurons to rub together had to be hypnotized to not vote for grandpa McPalin.

This is the stuff of supermarket tabloids.

6. As a Jew, I find that hilarious
Why were the Southern evangeligals not affected? Did Obama tell Kerry his secret way to get Jewish votes in 2004 when he gave the keynote speech?

Gore and Kerry both got over 75% of the Jewish vote. In fact, there are serious books written by perplexed, angry right wing Jews asking why most of the Jewish population is liberal and votes for Democrats.

8. Ron Paul is also a member
It seems this group is too kooky to get more than 5,000 members while the AMA has over 228,000 as of 2009. Maybe if they didn't tell everyone they have an alternate view of medicine and what science have discovered and proven in labs. Can you imagine all doctors having to be a member of the AAPS? If their alternate history, science, economics, ethics, etc were the main stay of our country? I wouldn't want to. Such things happened in Germany and Russia in the 20th century & we saw how that worked out for all concerned.
