Warship greets Greenpeace near Greenland
Source: UPI

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- The Danish government sent a warship to protect two drilling sites off the coast of Greenland from environmental activists, Greenpeace said.

Greenpeace announced Aug. 13 that it launched its vessel Esperanza to oil-rich waters to raise awareness about the need to go beyond oil.

The so-called target list for Greenpeace includes the waters of the Shetland Islands where the group said embattled British oil company BP is looking to expand. A spill there, Greenpeace said, would cause "lasting damage" to whales and other marine life.

Greenpeace said the Danish government deployed the Vaedderen warship to Greenland waters where Cairn Energy was given permission to drill, British newspaper The Independent reports.

It is not just the US government which does the bidding of BigOil. Warships protecting corporate profits is a global practice.

Or at least a form of Socialism, where the posibilites of Human is really made posible... Our current capitalistic system is sick, maybe even terminal sick in many ways... It is not a system of rules and laws anymore.. it is just a system where greed an illegal activity can be justified, where honest hardworking peopole is been screwed for THEIR right.. Where the little man would even be raped for their right, and the rich is been richer, and where the laws is twisted to special, powerfull interst...

We need a new revolution, a new worldwide revolution, where ALL humans is coming togheter, and is making a new world, different from what we have today..

- But Im afraid that is just a dream for the moment.. As long as the powers to be, can play us for fools, they wil have all the power they want, and we wil allways be "slaves" to our own unvillingness to fight back and demand our rights..

Workes of the world Unite, have never been more important than today Im afraid of... It was a creed that changed Europe, from a semi-feudal continent, to a place where the working man also have universal rights.. Its maybe time for the creed to mean more than it have been since 1991... Its maybe time to dust the history bins, and discover what i MEANS to be in power?.. If all who have to work for a living, stick togheter, the powers to be, either have to repent, and to reform, or die in the prosess.. That was happend last time, when the workers of the world unite under the same demand, peace, bread and freedom.. And 4 weeks paid leave in the summer - who still are something to be fight over in the US im aware off..
