AG defends decision to Mirandize NYC suspect
Eric Holder testifies that Faisal Shahzad’s cooperation is ‘ongoing’

WASHINGTON - Attorney General Eric Holder rejected on Thursday the notion that the investigation into the Times Square bombing case was hindered when authorities informed suspect Faisal Shahzad that he could not be forced to incriminate himself and he has a right to a lawyer. Holder told Congress that Shahzad's cooperation is continuing, and he has provided useful information.

Holder's assertions to a Senate appropriations subcommittee marked a sharp change in tone to the attorney general's recent appearances on Capitol Hill, where he has faced tough questions about his performance.

With what appears to be a success in the Shahzad case, Holder said, "We will continue to pursue a number of leads as we gather intelligence relating to this attempted attack

So, now there is a debate that a citizen should or should not get consititutional rights because of the extent of the crime. The person who tried assasinate Regean got those rights, and Tim Mc Veigh got those rights. So, what is the big deal?

1. They shouldn't bother to defend themselves
because it's the law of the land and conservative traitors are just blowing more useless smoke.

We need to fine them for polluting our air.

7. Why in the hell does this administration

They're doing what they really want to do and just trying to fool us into thinking that they're on our side.

The alternative is to believe they're really that stupid.

I think corrupt is more likely.
