Fox "News" reports on 'Stop the Chamber' campaign
Source: Fox News

Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue is a wanted man -- at least according to the liberal activist group that's put a de facto bounty on his head.

A network of liberal groups known as Velvet Revolution started an ad campaign offering $200,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man whose trade organization has become a thorn in the side of the Obama administration and congressional Democrats.

The Chamber of Commerce, meanwhile, decried the ad campaign and threatened possible legal action.

Stop the Chamber reports a dramatic increase in right wing threats and hate mail in the hours since Fox ran the story. Must be scratching the crazies right where they itch. :)

1. I find it really creepy going after somebody
like that. Is that what we have come to as a nation?

2. Exactly! Fox News' Lies Are Outrageous - Remember Their George Tiller Campaign?
Fox News is really out of control. First, their campaign leads to the death of George Tiller. Now, they are spreading lies about some so-called liberal conspiracy against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, an organization dominated by large corporations.

Olbermann: Fox News Complicit In George Tiller's Death (VIDEO)

On MSNBC's "Countdown" Monday night, Keith Olbermann argued that Fox News was partially responsible for the murder of Dr. George Tiller. He played clips of the network depicting Tiller as a baby killer and a Nazi, among other things. Olbermann called on viewers to not patronize businesses that show Fox News and to encourage their friends not to watch the channel -- "not so much a boycott here as a quarantine." The host pledged to take the first step and "retire the name, the photograph, and the caricature" of Bill O'Reilly from his own show.

Bill O'Reilly has refused to apologize for his attacks on Dr. Tiller.

"When I heard about Tiller's murder, I knew pro-abortion zealots and Fox News haters would attempt to blame us for the crime and that is exactly what has happened," O'Reilly said. He claimed "everything we said about Tiller was true ... no back-pedaling here."

3. I was referring to the people
who are going after the guy from the chamber of commerce. We are creeping toward the McCarthy era all over again. Heck, there are movements to have certain people blacklisted!

4. Looks fine to me. They're looking for real information, not cooked up
stuff. He should be held accountable for past crimes, if he's committed them.

Sounds like Fox doesn't think he's been vetted properly for his current job.
