GOP sets sights on knocking off Frost, three other Democrats

DALLAS - Having knocked off a vulnerable freshman Democrat, Republicans now have their sights on Texas' most senior Democrat in Congress: Rep. Martin Frost.

The 13-term congressman has been the archrival of U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, who spearheaded the redrawing of Texas' congressional voting boundaries so he could force out Frost and other Democrats.

Marching toward November, Republicans will pour money into races where they hope to oust other Democrat incumbents - Chet Edwards of Waco, Charlie Stenholm of Abilene, Max Sandlin of Marshall, Lloyd Doggett of Austin, Nick Lampson of Beaumont and Frost.

Rep Frost will not go down without a fight and thanks to the typical actions of republicans, the glare of justice will soon be shining in Texas relative to redistricting. 5. Dean's featured him

Dean's blog or website has featured a link to Morrison (Also Boswell of Iowa, who's being targetted by Rove). I imagine the new organization will be getting behind campaigns like this. I have to figure out who much $$$ I'm going to contribute in the campaigns this year, and some of my money will be going to Morrison. I'll dance a jig, naked in the middle of the street to celebrate if we can get rid of DeLay.
