China bans Urumqi mosque prayers
Source: BBC News

China has ordered mosques in its restive western city of Urumqi not to open for Friday prayers.

The order comes after several days of ethnic violence between Uighur Muslims and Han Chinese. At least 156 people have been killed so far.

. . .

An unnamed government official told the AFP news agency that the order not to open for prayers on Friday, the holiest day of the week in Islam, was given on public safety ground.

Regions.. sorta step 1-2-3, Modus Operandi to cultural dominance ..the Chinese are probably aware of this. we are quite ignorant of the process, we still believe the propaganda. this is very interesting, it would reveal much to know more statistics

This was from an earlier report on the changes in that region. (posted video below)

5. Kind of a narrow view. The people of that area of China wouldn't have been
exposed to Islam if it wasn't for Ghengis Khan's warriors returning home after conquering land in the Middle East and converting to Islam (after conquering the area).

6. Uh, the Uighars are indigenous to the area and have been
Muslim for centuries. They aren't "taking over" anything at this point.

Instead, the Chinese government is moving Han people in to dilute and destroy the Uighar culture. They are tearing down ancient Uighar buildings under the guise of "health and safety."

The Chinese government is carrying out systematic genocide against it's non-Han peoples.

9. China had a bunch of christinians they didn't want a while back. So they killed all of them.
China has solutions that work. Bad solutions, but they do work.

If I lived in China, I would not fuck with the Chinese govt, no way.

I am familiar with the Sharia creep, but I think China will stomp it out.

7. Makes no sense if true.
Muslims make a relatively small minority of the population of Urumqi - three quarters of the city if Han nationality. It should be relatively easy to provide public security for these services, which, as it were, are presided over by pro-government clergy.
