Iranian helicopters have attacked three Kurdish villages in northern Iraq in an apparent cross-border raid targeting Kurdish separatists, according to an Iraqi Kurdish border guard official.

There were no immediate reports of casualties after the pre-dawn raid along the Iraqi border province of Sulaymaniya on Saturday.

1. Following the same footsteps as Turkey has against Kurdish terrorism
In this particular case, I suspect the CIA has been using the Kurds as they did when the Shah stepped out of line.

2. As A Matter Of Curiousity, Ma'am
Who do you suppose was using the Kurds in this region from, say, 1920 to 1948?

The Jews of Baghdad and Zionism: 1920-1948 The thesis focuses on the 1920-1948 period, and argues that ...... Jews in Iraqi Kurdistan immigrated to Palestine in much larger numbers than their ...

3. What can we say about this? We do, after all, support Israel when this is done to Palestinians.

10. Agreed, it is very noteworthy. The Kurdish issue
is why Turkey didn't walk out of the forum that was held a few weeks ago, where the Iranian president went off on another unhinged tangent about Jewish people. Turkey, Iran, and Irag, all fear the Kurdish separatist movement. This military mission does not surprise me at all.
