Dicey photos add to uproarEmbattled candidate gets compromising pictures of accuser
COLORADO
Pueblo District Attorney Gus Sandstrom is reviewing police reports involving compromising photographs given to the sheriff's congressional campaign.
Stacee Brogden told police the digital photos were used to silence her sexual harassment allegations against Pueblo County Sheriff Dan Corsentino, who is running for the Republican nomination in the 3rd Congressional District.
Pueblo Police Chief Jim Billings said the inquiry looked into Brogden's claims that Gary Amendola, who took the photos, told her he gave them to Corsentino's campaign to discredit her.
Brogden has publicly alleged that Corsentino made sexual advances toward her. Corsentino has denied Brogden's allegations and similar claims by other women.
