Chinese Government Approves Chery’s Plan To Buy Volvo
Source: the truth about cars

China’s top economic planner has approved of Chery’s plan to buy the Volvo brand from Ford Motor, Gasgoo says. The report is not confirmed yet by Chery Auto. However, Gasgoo is very close to Chery.

According to Chinese media reports, The Dongfeng Motor has also submitted its Volvo-bidding plan to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). The company’s spokesman denied the reports.

This may make it less likely they'll have to do so in the future.

I am personally glad to see buyers from China stepping up for transactions like this. That's where a lot of the money is these days.

The Ford Motor Company is the only automaker that hasn't touched any of the government loan money.

The government is concentrating on the latest technologies to be implemented. Still if they concern about the e-waste and tried to set up a recycling company for electronics goods especially phone recycle. This electronic waste will release harmful chemicals in the atmosphere causing severe problems for mankind.
