Police searching for Jennifer Hudson's nephew find a boy's body in white SUV
Source: msnbc.com

CHICAGO - Police searching for Jennifer Hudson’s missing 7-year-old nephew say they’ve found the body of a young black boy in an SUV. There is no confirmation on the identity of the body.

A spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office says they’ve sent investigators to the scene. A spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department refused to comment Monday.

Julian King hasn’t been seen since Friday. That’s when Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.

1. No! A 'body' means a dead one, doesn't it. How much pain
does this family have to endure? :(

2. I got horribly depressed when I read that. Only 7 years old....
Absolutely 100% heartbreaking & sickening.

My prayers go to the boys mom and Jennifer. I can't begin to imagine what they are going through.

6. That is the the risk one takes when
hooking up with a Paroled Felon. They put their selves and family members at great risk for harm.

13. In cold reality, that may be partially true. But, I think blaming the victim
(and make no mistake, she lost her mother, brother & son- she IS a victim) here is wrong.

15. It reminds me that we have to be very careful about who we allow
into our lives. Especially young women.

22. Who could harm a child?
The boy was taken after seeing his grandmother and uncle murdered. I can't imagine the fear that poor child felt.

Horrible, horrible news.

3. This is sick and horrible.
It has been such a violent few days in my area, and I'm just sick of it all. Watching a press conference now about yet another homicide here in AR.

WHile police won't confirm it, other sources are saying that the SUV is registered to a member of Hudson's family.

10. The terror this child had to suffer!
First, witnessing the murders of his granny and uncle allegedly by his stepfather...then to be a prisoner and murdered by him........his little life had to be hell with such a stepfather. His mother, she is almost an accessory for embracing this ex-con, marring him and no doubt supporting him.... for what? getting a piece of ass now and then?

19. Maybe he seemed like someone who was reformed, who deserved a second
chance...who knows? People are blinded by love all the time. I don't believe in blaming the victim here; the guy was obviously mentally unstable, and she may or may not have ever seen evidence of that for herself. It's a terrible price to pay for the truth, no matter what. :-(

20. I hear ya.....
but when a child suffers, is murdered when the risky facts were well known and ignored for selfish gain........I speak up. It's hard but someone needs to speak the truth of such dysfunctional abuse. I call it child endangerment.

23. Why sum up the relationship as "getting a piece of ass now and then?" How do you know what the woman
sought in her marriage, and how she perceived it? Why make sweeping, derrogatory statements about someone you have never met?

When I saw your message line, I assumed you meant to express sorrow for the fact the child saw a devastating event, and then was taken, his mind traumatically bombarded with images from the two murders to deal with unimaginable grief while trying to cope with wondering if he was also going to be murdered, himself...

That would have been unbelievable pain for a child.

To see you took the opportunity to attack the mother, instead of expressing sorrow for the child is horrendous.

You don't know the woman, you have no idea what her reality was. Describing her value in the marriage as "a piece of ass" is unacceptable.

5. Saddened, but not surprised. I was trying to cling to hope
that he would be found, as the boy in Las Vegas was.

Keeping the Hudson family in my thoughts & prayers....

7. This is a sad story
But I'm trying to understand why it is a national news story. It would remain a local news story if there were not a celebrity tangent to it. If my mom and brother were shot in their house it would probably make the front page of our newspaper, but I can't see it being covered by MSNBC.

12. With a double murder and a missing child..
I think it would have gained national attention regardless of what it was.

18. Yep. Just look at how many missing children stories become National
news-though I'll admit, it's usually only the attractive white children that get all the attention.

Very sad news.

the Hudson's deserve at least 2 days.

Englewood is a horrible place to live. Why did Hudson's family still live there?

24. That's irrelevant. The perp was part of the family. This could have happened in Brentwood.
And maybe they lived in Englewood because that was their HOME. Friends, family, their community.

17. So very sad
The whole situation is so very sad.

But it takes a special kind of asshole to kill a seven year old child.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims' families.
