Joe McCain Calls 911 To Complain About Traffic

Alexandria - We have the tape of a 911 call made by John McCain 's brother earlier this week.

He called the police emergency line because he was angry he was stuck in traffic.

The 911 call came into the City of Alexandria on Oct. 21st That's creating some buzz because it appears to come from Joe McCain, John McCain's brother.

Operator: 911 state your emergency

Caller: It's not an emergency but do you know why on one side at the damn drawbridge of 95traffic is stopped for 15 minutes and yet traffic's coming the other way?

Operator: Sir, are you calling 911 to complain about traffic? (pause)

Caller: "(Expletive) you." (caller hangs up)

The complaint call about traffic on the Wilson Bridge, outrageous enough that the 911 operator called back. The voicemail on the other end, appears to belong to Joe McCain, brother of presidential candidate, John McCain

But that wasn't all. McCain apparently called 911 again to complain about the message the operator just left him, warning him such use of 911 is criminal.

Caller: Somebody gave me this riot act about the violation of police.

The McCain campaign has not commented on the issue, although it's said the campaign did listen to the call. ABC 7/NewsChannel 8 crews tried to reach Joe McCain, but were unable to.

It seems that Joe, the younger brother of John McCain, got miffed at a 911 operator for scolding him
for calling simply because he was stuck in traffic. Joe told him, "fuck you..." and hung up.

But that wasn't the end. Joe got a call back from an officer of the local police department, but had his
voicemail taking his calls. The officer informed Joe that it has come to his attention that Joe called the
911 system to complain about traffic and cussed at the 911 call taker prior to hanging up on him. The
officer then warned Joe that it was illegal in the state of Virginia to abuse the 911 system and that in
the future he should call a non-emergency number to complain or inquire about traffic.

Well, that just stoked Joe's boilers and he called back the local PD and began complaining to the one who
answered the phone that he had been given a hard time by the officer that left the voice mail. It could
have been that Joe was expecting to get someone in a higher authority who would recognize that he had
a legitimate right to call 911 because this was not some ordinary traffic jam. This was a traffic jam that
was holding up the brother of the Republican nominee for president of the GODDAMNED UNITED STATES
OF FUCKING AMERICA, GODDAMMIT!

Well, he didn't actually say that. I made that part up.

Wow! I am loving this and it can be another nail in the coffin. If you research Joe McCain, you see a guy who is well known for some anti-semitic articles, calling Northern Virginia communists and somebody who's mantra is "Do No Harm", which means that he knows how damaging he can be to the campaign if people only look. Hopefully this 911 call will start up conversations in the media about this guy and what a tool he is. This story can be the start 2 or 3 very entertaining news cycles. I am sure that the campaign is hoping that they can keep him under wraps until Nov 4, but this may make it impossible.
