Three guilty of bomb conspiracy

Three men have been found guilty of a massive terrorist conspiracy to murder involving home-made bombs.

Three of the eight men on trial had pleaded guilty to plotting to cause an explosion, and seven had admitted plotting to cause a public nuisance.

A final man, Mohammad Gulzar, was cleared at Woolwich Crown Court.

But after more than 50 hours of deliberations, the jury did not find any of the defendants guilty of conspiring to target aircraft.

So I think this means the jury decided that the 3 hoped the bombs would cause real damage; but they couldn't discount their claim that they'd set them off in the airport instead.
