Silver State Bancorp, (tied to Andrew McCain) CEO, Chairman resign

BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Silver State Bancorp Friday said Chief Executive Officer Corey L. Johnson and Chairman Bryan S. Norby have resigned from the company.

Both Johnson and Norby will continue serving as directors on the company's board, Silver State Bancorp (otcbb: SSBX.OB - news - people ) said.

The board has named Michael J. Thorell acting chief executive officer of the company and Phillip C. Peckman as acting chairman.

7. seems to just accentuate the parallels
between mccain and the bushies. gw's business failings are well known, but didn't one of his brothers - i think Neil - have a connection to - never mind that. i googled neil bush silverado and: http://www.campaignwatch.org/more1.htm

all of the bushes. now, two of the mccains at least. don't forget lincoln savings and loan.

when do the debates start? :)

8. This could be a big scandal (in a just world, of course)
Apparently this bank laundered a whole bunch of money for another company that defrauded investors. Now they are getting busted all over the place for improprieties, not to mention becoming a poster boy for mortgage lenders ripping off everyone. Obviously wouldn't reflect well on John McCain, so don't expect investigative reporting until after the election, and not then either.
