Bush supporters use carrier photo in raising money
Bush supporters use carrier photo in raising money

WASHINGTON -- The White House said that President Bush's landing on an aircraft carrier to declare the end of war in Iraq was not intended for his political gain. But a conservative group that supports Bush's policies has built a fundraising campaign around an official Navy photo of the president on the ship's deck.

3. If they can use it, we can use it too.
We can emphasize the number of wasted dollars, the grandstanding based on lies, the fact that he loved the service life so much that he took a hiatus from it, the fact that he was within site of shore, the fact that he kept these men from coming home on time because he wanted to get this on film. Where are our Madison Avenue types. This is fertile ground!

8. We could raise MORE money with that photo than the Pukes can
We could have great fun with the way Chimpy looks like a huge dork, playing dressup with Karl Rove's fanny pack in his crotch.

And the pukes ridiculed Mike Dukakis' tank photo and Al Gore's Rolling Stone cover? Puleeeze! Chimpy Bunnypants makes Dukakis look like George Patton in comparison! And at least Al's bulge was his own.

6. Cheny Fundraiser in Mass Cost Town $4000.
Recently Dick Cheny held a republican fundraiser in Mass that cost the town it was in over $4000 in security details.
The republicans never offered to reimburse the amount. :donut:

12. They should have told him they weren't going to pay for it
Our city council in Madison told Cheney's people that they'd have to pay for their own security last year, and they cancelled out of his 'appearance' at a Chamber of Commerce event. Haven't been back, either.

Good riddance.

7. Uh Boston Globe-"not intended for his political gain"????
Since when? They said from the getgo that it would be used to solicit campaign contributions. Nice lead in, the whole thing is sick.

Of course the Repuliklans were going to use this. Most of them came out of a septic tank so this should be expected.

11. Remember when you couldn't even make a campaign call on the WH phone?
The only time we EVER see Bush, he's appearing at some fund raiser. And it's always on the taxpayers' dime. ALWAYS!! WHY? WHY? WHY? These people are as crooked as a dog's lifted hind leg.

16. At least they haven't "politicized" 9/11 or the war
Noooooooooooooooo not them. Selling those photos (all surely by a privately paid photgrapher) is not REPEAT NOT politicizing those events. Is that clear or do you hate 'Murka?

17. When the media started counting up the dead
in relation to that speech, or the date of that speech, I really didn't think they'd get any play out of that fiasco.
