Top White House aides to write Middle East blog

Senior White House aides are planning to record notes from President Bush’s trip to the Middle East in what White House spokeswoman Dana Perino called “just a little bit of a blog.”

Perino announced the creation of “Trip Notes from the Middle East” in a briefing with reporters prior to the president’s departure.

“This is new to us,” Perino said. “We encourage you to log on and to check back often to read some of the updates that the staff will be posting throughout the trip.”

1. Now the reporters
don't need to go with them, just rewrite what they blog. They can do it from their homes. In fact the paper can fire the reporter and just have the White House bloggers do the articles for them.

5. Day 1: I had presidential pooper scooper duty today

I finally had to use a steel box after the presidential party favors kept melting the bags.

Day 2: I seem to have developed a rash.

Day 3: We have found the source of WMDs (quick trip to Iraq planned)
