Obama, Bloomberg Hold Mystery Breakfast Meeting
Source: WCBSTV.COM

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Just when the speculation seemed to simmer to silence, Mayor Michael Bloomberg has once again turned up the heat on the presidential hot stove.

The Independent mayor had a mystery breakfast meeting in Manhattan Friday morning with Democratic candidate Barack Obama, a move that could irk the Hillary Clinton campaign seeing as, after all, New York is her turf.

Bloomberg has repeatedly asserted he plans to complete his entire mayoral term and keep out of the presidential race, but he sure knows how to tease the masses.

Obama and Bloomberg met on a coffee date, scheduled because of their "mutual interest." The billionaire mayor and the Illinois senator chatted over eggs and potatoes early Friday at the New York Luncheonette on East 50th Street.

2. Bloomers is probably going to endorse Obama
and set himself in line for Veepers.

Hmmm?

This should be interesting.

People screech about Hillary being "Repub-lite" and shit.

Here's ol' Bloomers who didn't have the fucking balls to run as a Democrat, sucked up to the GOP to get elected, kissed Bush's ass at the convention ..... and now he's an "Indepedent".

Suck it Mike!

6. He won't be Obama's VP, and doesn't want to be, I'd bet. I would
guess the meeting was to reassure Obama that Bloomberg wouldn't run against him if Obama is the nominee--he's made it pretty clear he WILL run against Hillary.

3. The article notes that Bloomberg has also met with Hagel,

and speculates that Bloomberg's real goal was to tweak Senator Clinton.

5. Bloomberg just had dinner with Hagel on Wednesday. He's not pooh-poohing it
very effectively.

The rumored independant run by Bloomberg was denied.

But in a sort of related story to Hagle...

Hagel at CFR: Would Consider Running on Dem Ticket, Calls Hillary 'Capable'

Hagel ceratinly seems eager to be somebody's VP.

8. Well, his denials aren't very convincing. He is acting like a candidate--
I think if Hillary is the nominee, he'll run. If Obama is, he won't.
