Qaeda's Zawahri says Iraq bill shows U.S. defeat
By Firouz Sedarat

Al Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri said a U.S. congressional bill calling for a troop withdrawal from Iraq was proof of Washington's defeat, according to a Web video posted on Saturday.

"This bill reflects American failure and frustration," Zawahri said. "But this bill will deprive us of the opportunity to destroy the American forces which we have caught in a historic trap."

<SNIP>

"We ask Allah that they only get out after losing 200,000 to 300,000 killed, so that we give the blood spillers in Washington and Europe an unforgettable lesson to motivate them to review their entire doctrinal and moral system," Zawahri said on the video, posted on Web sites used by Islamists.

<SNIP>

"The ones who have stirred up strife in Iraq are those who today are begging the Americans not to leave," said the white-turbaned Zawahri, sitting next to bookshelves and an assault rifle.

Zawahri mocked Bush for saying that a U.S.-backed security plan for Baghdad was showing signs of success.

5. Well, if Zahwahri says it, it must be true, right? I mean Bush listens to the terrorists all the
time and quotes them a lot, too. Those damned Democrats, they need to listen to the terrorists, like the Republicans, for the good of the country.

MKJ

I'd better add :sarcasm:, just in case.

6. He's Absolutely Correct
It is reported that just after we attacked Iraq, former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak told Cheney that we'd lost - the only question was how much humiliation we'd allow to happen.

We have lost in Iraq. The longer we stay, the more blood will be spilled for no reason.

The only possible way to leave Iraq quickly is to impeach Bush.

9. Zawahiri Plays Dubya Like A Piano
Edited on Sat May-05-07 10:49 PM by VogonGlory
Al Zawahiri plays Dubya like a piano. He knows that saying he's beaten the US in Iraq will only make Gee Dubya even more stubborn and madder.

And the infuriating thing is that the SOB has likely played rope-a-dope again with the American electorate. He and bin Laden sent that letter taunting Dubya in the lead-up to the 2004 election and, like fools, the American electorate obliged them by re-electing the "W"artime Commander. We'll probably stay stupid enough to stay in Iraq for at least five more years.

:argh:

13. Here's more text that they didn't include at YaHoo News, where he mocks *Bush big time!
NOTE: This is not a terrorist website, they a just a website that get's most of it's funding from the U.S. Government and posts most of the stuff the Terrorist publish rather quickly:

<http://siteinstitute.org/bin/articles.cgi?ID=publications279607&Category=publications&Subcategory=0>

...and Zawahiri courting of all minorities in arguing that the jihad by the Mujahideen and al-Qaeda is not merely for the benefit of Muslims. He states:

“That’s why I want blacks in America, people of color, American Indians, Hispanics, and all the weak and oppressed in North and South America, in Africa and Asia, and all over the world, to know that when we wage Jihad in Allah’s path, we aren’t waging Jihad to lift oppression from the Muslims only, we are waging Jihad to lift oppression from all of mankind, because Allah has ordered us never to accept oppression, whatever it may be.”

Aside from Zawahiri’s opportunistic approach to minority rights, he comments on the current issue over the War in Iraq vis-à-vis the U.S. Congress and U.S. President George W. Bush. Speaking to the bill tying funding for the war to a timetable to withdrawal, Zawahiri comments that this is evidence of American “failure and frustration”, and sarcastically voices his disappointment that the bill deprives the Mujahideen of crushing the U.S. forces. Concerning Bush claiming success in the Baghdad security plan, Zawahiri continues to mock U.S. policy, referring to the suicide bombing at the Iraqi Parliament building in the Green Zone, stating: “And lest Bush worry, I congratulate him on the success of his security plan, and I invite him on the occasion for a glass of juice, but in the cafeteria of the Iraqi parliament in the middle of the Green Zone!”...

15. Once again Bush and Al Kader are on the same side.
Time after time both groups benefit from their joint policy initiatives, from 9-11 to Iraq Al Kader and the Bush Crime Family have a convergence of interests.

17. Let's not forget that the CIA trained bin-Laden and his minions...
during the Russian-Afghan war, that Poppy Bush was the former head of the CIA, and that the Bush family have been business partners with the bin-Ladens for decades.

Along with all the timely messages from al-Qaeda during Bush's 2004 Presidential campaign and bin-Laden's total evasion of justice since 9/11, anyone who thinks all of this is mere coincidence has got to be kidding me.

unless we stayed then it would be defeat.. ""But this bill will deprive us of the opportunity to destroy the American forces which we have caught in a historic trap."

21. Al Qaeda loves republicans.
Republicans have greatly weakened America and the terrorists are grateful.

Bin Laden especially appreciates Bush letting him escape to Pakistan unimpeded. Bush let the Pakistanis "guard the border" because US forces were on standby to invade a country that was not a threat. Bin Laden would love it if his friend Bush could stay in charge here in America. I'm sure Bin Laden supports a constitutional amendment to allow Bush perpetual re-election.

If a Democrat takes charge, we might actually do something to catch the assholes. So Al Qaeda will actively campaign for the republicans.

22. We don't need al-Zawahri to state what is obvious to everyone else
The odd coincidence is that al-Zawahri is as anxious as Bush is to destroy the American military. Each day we stay in Iraq is a day in which our troops become weaker and psychologically damaged. Bush wants that. Al-Zawahri also wants that.

Democrats want to save the military by getting our troops out of Iraq. Bush and Al-Qaeda are against that!
