Israeli Says Iran Top Terrorism Sponsor
Guess our boys better get busy huh

Atlanta Journal-Constitution

HERZLIYA, Israel (AP)--Iran is the world's ``No. 1 terror nation'' and is plotting relentlessly to attack Israeli targets, the head of Israel's Shin Bet security service said Tuesday, calling on Western nations to restrain Tehran.

``It is clear that because of terror, Iran presents a strategic threat to Israel. And if you connect the other abilities that Iran is developing to this, the threat is even bigger,'' he said, in an apparent reference to Tehran's nuclear program.

``Iran is the No. 1 terror nation in the world,'' Dichter said.

``Iran acts against Israel and Israeli interests around the world,'' he said, citing the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires that killed 85 people and wounded more than 200 in Argentina's deadliest terror attack.

1. That'll be pretty inconvenient
if, in fact, Iran had any role in helping bushco nab Saddam.

10. At the beginning of the war there was a cleric who had been
in exile in Iran for at least a decade but somehow managed to get airlifted into Najaf. He and his nephew (?) were hacked to death by a mob of people in front of a mosque. International press releases I read at the time reported he had a lot of US dollars with him. Sorry no link but do a google, the story will be there.

14. Khoei wasn't in Iran
Hakim & Haeri were in Iran (the former no longer alive either, the latter still in Qom), Khoei was based in London working for the Bush & Blair regimes.

4. tough "nexus" in axis of evil world:
Iranian Shi'ites may be the only mitigating Islamic voice to help West smooth the way with Iraq emergence from occupation as an independent nation; Israel wants Iran next, apparently; Perle wants world; we need to cover our asses in the Iraq mess; more GI's die every day; elections in US next year; al Qaeda still has millions from Saudi funds... This nation building is clearly not B*usboy's forte.
