Terrorists win if we lose poll: Bush

GEORGE W.Bush sharpened the rhetoric on Democrats and their stance on the Iraq war yesterday, claiming that the "terrorists win and America loses" if Republicans ceded ground in the mid-term elections as the race for control of the US Congress entered its final week.

Mr Bush, in his home state of Texas, is regarded as a formidable campaigner, and increasingly in the past few days he has gunned directly for Democrats to stir his base of voters.

"The Democrat goal is to get out of Iraq," Mr Bush said in the district of Sugar Land, Texas. "The Republican goal is to win in Iraq. I'm not saying that these Democrats are unpatriotic, I'm just saying they're wrong. You can't win a war unless you're willing to fight the war."

Mr Bush said retreat from Iraq would embolden the enemy and make the US "more vulnerable to attack".

2. Tell HIM to go to the front lines and FIGHT. I hate what peoples want
to appear as if they are the ones that are though when in reality they are cowards who send others to do the fighting for them.

3. It goes to show you, if you're * and his handlers that nothing
stands in the way of what you want. Democrats in the House and Senate have voted for his PATRIOT Act, his tax cuts, his perpetual military budget for Iraq, his American Military Commissions Act (habeas corpus, Geneva Convention, enemy combatants, etc.), and STILL the democrats are called weak on terrorism. It's never enough.

If I were Harry Reid, I'd immediately turn it around and ask * to explain how exactly have the democrats PROVED thus far they are weak on terrorism. Where is the evidence versus a statement of conclusion?

6. Very, very true -- they keep licking the GOP's heels, and get impaled for it.
When they could begin to build upon the grass roots groundswell of doubt about this whole lying fucking fabricated "war."

Truly fucking disgusting.

Every day in Every Way....well that goes for bush...every day in every way he shows the desperation and bottom of the barrel wallering he and the republicans have. Have you ever heard a president of the United States spew such absolute swill.

9. Republicans ARE the terrorists.
They have murdered more innocent people for their cause (money, power and greed) and have spread more fear than any terrorists I've ever heard of.

...you'd think he'd have enough sense to NEVER utter a phrase like that, considering his AWOL record, and all the deferments that his posse used to avoid FIGHTING A WAR!!!!

Reminds me of other pearls of wisdom attributed to Yogi Berra such as " If you see a fork in the road, you should take it". The difference is who's saying them now. I think we've sunk into cartoonland.

12. bush should execute (Kill. Murder. Slaughter.)
at least half the population of the United States of America.

After all, that is the penalty for trreason.

And after all, bush's "it's just politics" rhetoric is calling at least half the population of the United States of America "traitors".

Americans (rightwingers) won't object to 150,000,000+ Americans being executed.

They only object when non-Americans kill American citizens. And only when they're told to object about it by their Politician-Parents.

22. The terrorists win, people will die, we will cancel Christmas and marriage
Do they seem a bit insane to anyone else?

Here's a few real fear if the Republicans win: more of our military will die, the deficit will expand, the Earth will continue to overheat, we will lose all of our allies, and our economy will collapse from the pressure. I can back those up, unlike the Republicans and the nonsense they spew.

26. Death Grip on the Obvious - inside W's Brain:
This is precious: "claiming that the "terrorists win and America loses"

What does this mean? Understand the mind of the Bush-puppet and be amazed!!!:
If Republicans (fat corporate war parasites a.k.a. "America") lose, then the terrorists (that progressive groundswell of pissed-off Americans who terrify him) will win. Or: If Republicans lose, the Democrats win.

Yep! Another "no-brainer" for the Bush-Cheney cabal. LOL.

Then there's this one: "You can't win a war unless you're willing to fight the war."
It's true! And you can't fight a war unless you invent one first and then lie the whole country into being willing to fight it. Thanks George. We figured that one out by ourselves.

But here's the scary part: "Mr Bush said retreat from Iraq would embolden the enemy and make the US 'more vulnerable to attack'." Since the Bush syndicate has proven they're perfectly capable of orchestrating events to leverage their neocon agenda, I'd take this as a threat. Stakes are high this time around, so don't forget to stock up on duct tape and plastic sheeting at Home Depot...

:sarcasm:

He was in the middle of Sugarland, Tx. Can you imagine in the last week before the election and the Grand Old Preverts have their top of the ticket campaigner in Sugarland, Tx? They are defending a very small fort and the rebels are at the gates.
